"This turmeric supplement seems to be a good value. It is a fairly large bottle containing 400 capsules. The recommended dose is three capsules per day. One might want to check with a health care person to discuss all the supplements one takes in addition to turmeric. People who take turmeric supplements probably also take other supplements, and if so 2400 mg of turmeric may or may not be an appropriate dose. For maintenance a lower dose might be better. I have questions on how much turmeric vs curcumin extract is in the formula. Is there black pepper? Most turmeric supplement include black pepper for enhanced absorption. I don't see it listed. Who did the lab testing? Is it a third party? Where are the capsules made? It says packaged in the USA, but doesn't say where they are made. I do prefer knowing the exact amount of ingredients instead of relying on a proprietary formula deciding for me. All that being said, this does seem like a good value and from a quality company."
