The most important supplement I take
"I take a ton of supplements. I don't think I've reviewed any until today. Sixteen years ago, I had a severe case of mono which left me barely able to walk and needing walking sticks for support, in incredible back and neck pain, with near-constant migraines, a non-functioning endocrine system, and chronic fatigue. This led to 2 back surgeries and a neck disc replacement. For next 5 or 6 years, I visited doctors, read up on self-help, and tried supplements. Nothing seemed to make much difference, although i was assured if I had NOT taken the supplements and hadn't practiced a pure diet--and had been in superb physical shape prior to infection--I probably wouldn't be here at all. OK, but I still felt as if I'd been hit by a truck. Then I heard about astaxanthin and of course tried it. Three weeks later I could walk without walking sticks. I couldn't believe it. I have not been without it since. I still suffer from migraines, my thyroid and adrenal function require constant monitoring, and I have to be careful about exhaustion, but my joints are so much better. I have always had good skin with no negative sun issues, so I can't attest to the skin benefits. But I can walk about an hour at a time and then rest after, not during. No limp, no real problem while walking. I credit the astaxanthin, and I will never be without it. No, this company did not pay me or give me a free sample. If you decide to try it, be sure to take the 12-mg dose, and take the real stuff, not synthetic substitutes. This company has the gold standard, unless I missed something in my research."
Antidepressant effect

Way more than the antidepressant I’ve been on for over 6 years. A quick google search supports It’s antidepressant like effects and it crosses the BBB which most things do not - Seriously try it and be consistent"
